anybody into these guys? for fans of don cab, storm and stress, the speaking canaries, minus the bear, hella, and anything that ever happened in chicago...seriously a super good band. selftitled album came out in 2005, dont know too much about them unfortunately...but check them out, seriously, seriously great stuff.

Aside from the long and tedious last track, their album is really good. Some of the most effortless and polished-sounding instrumental "math rock" I've heard.

In an interesting turn of events, I'm opening for these guys tomorrow at a house party in Roseburg Oregon. myspace.com/teramelos

man, does anyone have an actual copy of the ep? the only one floating around on the intraweb is the shitty streaming tracks from punknews.org.

It's on Soulseek. And they're still selling it at shows.

the real thing sounds way, way better. i'm surprised they haven't made anymore copies of this seeing as how quickly it sold out and is still in demand... eh

2 things..
1)I do have a great sounding version of this on soulseek
2)These guys are on tour right now. They have 3 Texas dates, so I will be checking them out I've heard the live show is sick. Anyone else interested in seeing them?
Someone said they were playing with them at a house show or something a while back. How was it?

cliff, if they are playing those shows in texas with by the end of tonight (although it wouldn't even make sense if they weren't, bteot is from alvin), you should definitely go see them... their live show is fucking incredible.

The house show was awesome. The drummer was mesmerizingly technical, and the guitarist often played two (three, if you count his impressive arsenal of effects) instruments simultaneously, fret-tapping whilst playing keyboard. On a side note, the turnout and response were great for a house show in a town of 10-20,000.. much better than the Eugene show earlier this year, according to my friend who set up the house show.
