i've tried twice to make an account. both times it worked for maybe two days, and suddenly stopped logging any thing.

How long ago did you try? Maybe the latest version of the scrobbler will work for you, or maybe it was just getting disabled in your media player. When WMP crashes, it disables all the plug-ins the next time you open it.

edit: just added you, fvgazi haha, i figured it was about time to add my top neighbor since forever fauxass: audioscribbler doesn't always update right away, even though it looks like it's not recording anything you listen to it's still being logged some where. if you still want to try it just give it a week or so.

fauxass: audioscribbler doesn't always update right away, even though it looks like it's not recording anything you listen to it's still being logged some where. if you still want to try it just give it a week or so. it's been about six months. no thing has scrobbled. i use foobar 2000 as a media player. i don't know if that has any thing to do with any thing.

have you only downloaded it once? i redownloaded it awhile ago and thought it was a pretty simple setup. have you checked to make sure the last.fm plugin is in foobar's components folder?

ok... i'm on now.
user name is cliffordton
I don't really know what's going on yet, but I guess I will figure it out eventually.
One question though... when you listen to music on your pc via WMP or WinAmp or Itunes or whatever... do you have to be logged on to Last.fm for it to catch it or not?
Any help for a beginner would also help!

the program should just start up when you start listening to music with any of the programs it's compatible with. i looked at your page and it looks like it's working fine.
