It was a last minute "warm-up" for the tour that happened in the South Side area of Pittsburgh at a bar called the Smiling Moose. Apparently Don Cab practices near here and decided to do a set as a warm up. It sounded like Don Caballero. No question about that. Pretty good first show for the new line up. Set List: (out of order) Got A Mile, Got A Mile, Got An Inch Our Caballero Belted Sweater Stupid Puma In The Abscence Of Strong Evidence Delivering The Groceries At 138 Beats Per Minute Fire Back About Your New Baby's Sex Let's Face It Pal, You didn't Need that Eye Surgery and two new songs one that i didn't catch the name of that sounded reminscent of something that could have been on Don Cab 2 One was called "Palm Trees in The Fucking Bahamas" and was totally different from anything they've done... real melodic and twisted... there was a part that reminded me of September by Earth Wind And Fire from what i have gathered from Jeff E. (one of the new guitarists) they have also been working on Don Caballero 3, First Hits and Puddin' In My Eye to put into the set as well as 2 or 3 other new ones. Even with the 2 guitarists they seem to be doing a lot of the "loops" with the pedals. Jason is definatley the best bass player they've had yet. and with the exception of Damon there really aren't any egos in this lineup. They're all genuinely nice humble guys. I like it

I like the Smiling Moose, and I'm sorry I missed it. I guess I'll have to wait until the "official" show.
First Hits and Puddin' in My Eye would be fun to see if they can get those into the set.
