i've been playing drums since i hink about age 5 or 6, i got my first kit one of those xmas'es, and guitar the following yea i think. im about to turn 26 now. my music is kind of an amalgamaton of all the styles of music i listen to, called 'temp sound solutions'...think of a champs cd smashing into a metroid cartridge and you get my original stuff... i also do a lot of video game covers, only NES songs so far, i've done 3 cd's of covers, a cover 'series' called 'now yr playin with powar'... if any of you guys think this sounds interesting, check out my stuff at www.tempsoundsolutions.tk/ and i promise you'll be glad ya did sp

that wyndham earle stuff sounds like members from june of 44, rodan and predominantly tortoise in a large orgy. pretty cool for two piece. i would suggest to your drummer that he not get shafted by poor engineering and mixing on his drums on any future releases. seems like the guitar sounds perfect and the hi hat is the only drum apparatus miked correctly. good luck

Thanks for the compliment. We listen to all of those bands. We have some new stuff that sounds a little different. If you are interested e-mail me at rmoncivais@hotmail.com I know the drums sound bad because of limited funds and we only used 4 mics on the drums. Limited funds=Shitty drum sound. We will not be playing for a long time because we live in deifferent cities. I will let you know if we ever do anything else.

I've been playing classical guitar for 10 years now, and I'm in a classical guitar duo called mozeba. We only play original material, alot of it being influenced by bands like don caballero and godspeed you black emperor. If you are interested our material is available at www.mozeba.com/discography/demo.html I reccomend the song "There are billions of worlds yet we can only relate to our own". I also have a solo project using a loop pedal and a classical guitar. That can be heard at www.mozeba.com/discography/angelics.html I'd reccomend the song "Aryn" Thankyou for your time, I'd be interested to hear what anyone thinks.

hehe, the band that was mentioned in EGM is actualyl The Advantage, which is spencer seim (of hella)'s band...they are one of my favorite bands all around. you can check their site at www.theadvantageband.com ...they are truly a force to recon with. and yeah...i do a burgertime cover, it's on the 'now yr playing with powar 2' cd, there's ordering information on the webpage as well. i've done maybe 200 covers at this point. the 4th video game cover cd will be out in april it seems. check out the page and give me some feedback in email! www.good-evil.net/TSS/phase

fretless electric bass and cello. bass i've played off and on for ten years or so, two years or so in band...flipper, sonic youth inspired. i'm sick and tired of what i play when i pick up my bass so i'm getting into practicing and sight reading because im undisciplined and cant create the sound in my head for some reason. i've had a cello for two years about all i can do is make some sounds that other people would recognize as C,D,D#, etc, etc. but for the last few years i've felt that to play music it was necessary to play an acoustic intrument, not soley, just in addition to the electric bass which i consider the thing i play, like as in 'im a musician...' anyway, a ways back i heard bach's cello suites played by a spanish cellist, pablo casal...the more i listened to those recording the more fascinated, intrigued i become with the cello...ideally i want to dedicate a part of each day to playing both of these instruements.

yeah...i was in a band inspired by flipper & sy...but speaking of flipper has anyone heard 'negative trend'? two members, will shatter and someone else formed flipper, so they were pre-flipper. apparently they had an ep called something like we dont play we riot that was really good, i've yet to be able to find a copy of it....

I've been playing bass for 12 or 13 years now. Over the last few years I've played in two different touring bands. My current band is called Form of Rocket. In fact, we're leaving on tour this Thursday (I can't wait). Our upcoming tour is only going to be a couple of weeks, but when we get back we're playing with none other than, well, er.... the new Don Caballero, who in spite of the line up change I'm still very excited to see. If you're interested, you can check out Mp3's from our first album at my band's Web site: www.formofrocket.comOur most recent album was released on Some Records, so I think they may have an Mp3 or two from our album, Lumber, on that site.

I didn't realise Don Cab were playing so soon after this tour, so if you (or anyone else!) have dates please send 'em on!
