I've noticed that both Ian Williams and Tyondai Braxton use computers during the live show. Does anyone the purpose of these computers?

the purpose of these computers is to play encarta, minesweeper, and solitaire while the computers generate the sound.

i think they just use 'em for samples. when i saw them in bloomington a few weeks ago, i got a glimpse of what ian williams had loaded up, and it was a software sampler called Kontakt. not sure what tyondai braxton was using, though.

The computers are the "brains" and the keyboards are the "slaves." The keyboard settings and tones are all stored on the laptops. They use a couple different programs to create the keyboard sounds and what not.
