as far as stories...let me think... first off Atlas was recorded first (for the single) to test out Machines w Magnets studio. they were happy w the result so the rest was recorded there too. the drums were recorded live w the band to 2" tape, then they re-did everything else on the pro tools separately. all the song titles were different in the studio with the exception of Tonto. On the funny side John went to church. He was psyched a certain kind of church was in Pawtucket (cant remember which) and he went and hung around w church ladies and stuff. I remember Keith said he brought a suit with him and got all dressed up. If i remember more i'll tell you guys.

im surprised there was any tape used at all by battles. they seem so digital.

I'm also suprised about the tape, because the vinyl Mirrored really doesn't have that broad scope you usually get with an analog recording on vinyl.. even the drums sound digital. I suppose thats the point.
