this album is the shit man.........one of my best buy of this year i cant wauit for a proper album to get out......and yes the bass tone is amazing as always.correct me if im wrong but this sound like an old p bass trough an old tube ampeg.............

There is a new record in the mix coming out some time next year that we recorded in the fall of 2006 which I am really excited about. Don't know when it will be out though.
On theThe EP that you refer to, it is my 1991 GK 800 played thru my old Ampeg 8x10, (Same exact setup as Don Cab). Mixed aside a '72 Ampeg SVT tube head thru a newer single 15". I never used any pedals in DC or a dual recording rig but there is a good deal of it in the PA stuff. But all done live in one take with maybe one punch in.
I am now mainly playing the SVT tube and the 8x10 at this point but the GK is creeping back in becuase it weighs like 75 lbs less than the SVT. Also, what gets you there is the captain, not the ship, right!

Oh, and yes. That was the same P-Bass I used in DC but on the new record I used a Frankenstein Monster of a bass born on the same year as I, that is as of now, still indescribable.
