yes in fact. Have had a book on her work for quite a few years. Fantastic. Discovered her in high school days, (pre '90). If you like that, check out Dorothy Tanning and Kay Sage as well. Tanning was 'associated' with Max Ernst at least for some time, Sage was married to Yves Tanguy. Leonora Carrington was allright as well. I think Ernst 'associated' himself with her also, cheeky devil. Look at the collage work of Hannah Hoch too if you don't know it. More Dada/Int. Abstraction than Surreal.

Is the Varo book you have Unexpected Journeys by Janet A. Kaplan? I was thinking of buying one of her books... There only seems to be two available on amazon. Wasn't sure which one to get. I'll check out those names you recommended. I bought a Tanguy book last week which is excellent, only the text is in German which kind of sucks. But i'm happy to have it as there is not nearly enough of his works in the form of books (that aren't overpriced).

Hey man. YES, that's the book. Sorry for the delay. Don't check all the time and I guess it's been a while since I checked this thread. Yeah, that's the book, but also look up "Women in Surrealism". That's a good one too. compendium of sorts. cheers, -Aaron
