This will probably be moved to the Don Cab section. What I would like to know is if anyone has transcribed it. I attempted a transcription and got about halfway finished. If anyone's interested I will post what I have...it's on a different computer but wouldn't take too long to retrieve. Then someone else can finish, or I can type up the rest later.

I have the pics, so if someone thought of a good way to share them on the web, I'd be all for it.
Maybe a shared Gmail account? We did something like that on the Electrical Audio forum a while back.

OK, it's up there on the GMail account.
Please hit "Sign Out" after you download it so that Google doesn't lock out the account for others when it realizes it's being accessed from across the globe simultaneously!
And if someone could find it a permanent home, I'd be forever grateful.

ithink that should be the permanent home...simply stated, this isnt my recollection of don cab. it was always a great time, i dont want to read or remember or think of it like that. banfields is gone...with the songwriting for a while it went with him because of the malaise within the band. id really just more than anything offer my suggestion of 'if you havent read it yet, dont bother'. it was what it was, but thats not what it always was or ever was to anybody.

Thank You! You guys have come from a heavenly place...such good writing. Don't really understand the words of Shawn Phase. History creates the present. And this is bloody interesting!

I think he's trying to say that he doesn't want that diary to be Don Cab's legacy, because it's obviously a very negative piece (albeit factual). But honestly, I don't think there's much danger of that at all any more. I mean, at this point, that was 8 years ago and the band/Damon has obviously moved on. So it is just a piece of history rather than some overriding documentation of the end of it all, forever and ever. Once upon a time it was the end...but not any more.
