Wow, thanks, hammerhorror!! A soundboard mix...truly impressive. And I guess big thanks is in order to Don Caballero for letting him pull it off, most (like 99% of) bands wouldn't. I hope they at least get a couple copies. 8)

He told me to tell anyone else that they are welcome to do video and audio of Don Cab shows (as long as the venue is okay with it). I then asked him if he wanted my contact info so I could send him some copies, but he said as long as I posted the recording on the internet, that was good enough for him.

please help us out with mp3s of this if you can, i know you might want to get your ratio up on dime, but not all of us have accounts and would like to hear a good proper recording of the live stuff, dime has closed accounts and its tough to get an account there..thanks for taping this.

I've been a Dime member for years and I know how hard it is to join. I've been lurking here for a while but I thought this is the time to join and contribute so here you go. Enjoy

I think Don Cab is a perfect candidate for the Live Music Archive: www.archive.org/details/etree. This is a website that hosts live recordings from trade-friendly bands - no fooling with Dime, etc. Should be easier for people to download the shows and more exposure for the band. All they need is an email from the band to etree-at-archive.org saying its cool for them to host the shows. Something saying they are a trade-friendly band would help too! More info at the FAQ: www.archive.org/about/faqs.php#122Maybe someone here on the board knows how to get in touch with them?

Live Music Archive is a great idea.
I remember reading on some tape trading website a few years back (remember tape trading?) that Don Cab have always been a taper-friendly band.
Your best bet for getting in touch with them is probably their MySpace page. I think it's run by Relapse Records, or maybe by Jouver.
