if don cab uber-fans would like this band. I play in it and was obsessed with don cab for many years. i played a couple shows w/the reformulated don cab w/ my old group. interesting experiences. we've done fairly okay around the dfw area, but it seems like everyone who hears us has no context. I'd like some people who might actually know what's up to check it out. sorry for the blatant self-promotion, i'm honestly just trying to share w some people who might dig it. www.dearhuman.orgwww.myspace.com/dearhumanwww.facebook.com/dearhuman

I listened to three of the songs. It's quality math rock. I like it.
You play guitar, right? All of the melodies and song structures are great. Well done on that.
The drummer could probably stand to lay off the double bass drum pedal and just hold back a bit more. Seriously, he's talented, but he's playing like FIVE TIMES as many notes as the rest of the band PER SONG. Remember: quiet/loud, tension/release, setup/payoff. Save the explosions and craziness for when it REALLY counts, and the entire band will sound THAT MUCH better.

I'm with dalyzach on this one, nice guitars but the drums could benefit from being toned down.
