possibly listing some stuff on ebay.

hey guys, i am sorta in a bad spot financially lately and i have a lot of different things that i've been considering making ebay auctions for. for instance i have a lot of don cab/storm and stress stuff in specific that i was thinking about making an auction for, i have one of the original storm and stress t-shirts that is really rather weathered that has a hole, and i was thinking about listing it with a receipt i have that is made out to ian williams for a power inverter for their van in 1997.

i have no idea how i got this or when or why, anything like that, so i cant really answer any questions, im just wondering if there would even be any type of interest if i put this up on ebay. i think given the signifigance that it would be worth something, its just hard to say what. i also have posters and set lists for at least 4 don cab shows and albums/tours that i would have to research the dates of. these are the glossy tour posters that touch and go gave out to clubs to promote the tour. i've got one for what burns, singles breaking up, american don, and punkgasm and i believe the tour before punkgasm came out. i dont know if they made tour posters for 2, but if they did i would trade perhaps two of them and setlists for one from the 2 era.

normally i wouldnt think twice about selling these things, because they mean a lot to me, but im really wondering what they would be worth to fans or collectors. i dont know if theres much of a market for this kind of thing, but when you've got a setlist and a tour poster for a band usually its pretty cool and ive got a lot of don cab, trans am, storm and stress and other bands and none of them are hanging up, so i'd like to see what they're worth to people.

I don't know ... I'm still holding onto some stuff signed by Urge Overkill sixteen years ago, waiting patiently for Urge Overkill to become HUGE!

well obviously this stuff is only going to be worth something to collectors..i just have a lot of different don cab related stuff, i dont think i could ever sell it. i want to frame the tour posters with the setlists, i think they'd look super nice.

You could try framing one poster with a set list and doing a sort of test auction (covering the framing cost with your reserve price), that way you'll know if people are willing to spend hard cash on that kind of thing before you list all of it. I won't be bidding, I can tell you straight up.
