It's not so much "math rock", but more of a vocal-driven melodramatic psych pop thing.
About half the songs were previously released under the group name Amaranth, but these are all new recordings...very professional sounding. Solid stuff overall...I think Aaron's vocals work much better in this context compared to the Hella album he sang on.
