I recently got the new Kaki King cd and Aerial Boundaries by Michael Hedges. I just might have to purchase a cd by a band called Pattern is Movement. While not all their songs are great they definitely have their moments.

I dig Mark of the Mole, it's the only CD I actually own of the Residents but I really like a lot of their stuff.
I have that Nancarrow stuff in mp3, and I think it's really really interesting but realistically it's nearly completely unlistenable to me.
I haven't been buying many CDs recently because I had been buying a lot about a month ago and needed to slow down a bit. I just purchased the new To Live and Shave in LA and the CD Sightings did with Tom Smith from the internet and should be receiving those sometime soon... the new Sightings records out on Load is really great, too, I got that at one of their shows recently.
Other newsih arrivals (for me, at least) include the new Blood Brothers CD (which is good but nothing fantastic), Neil Young - After the Goldrush (which I don't like nearly as much as a lot of his other stuff), and Jackie-O Motherfucker - Live in Europe 2002 2xCD(I like this band, their cover of Amazing Grace on the last track of disc 1 is pretty intense, for an imrpov noise-folk band).
