Dedos, what did you think of Meshuggah's "I" ep? hey asristir. i loved the 'I' ep. its an amazing piece of music. the first riff change about 3mins in..the solo about 5 mins and the drum pattern that plays for ages after the solo..i could easily go on. i think thats why i was initially disappointed with 'catchthirtythree'. it wasn't as immediate as 'I' . its not as immediate as any of thier previous records. but then i rememeber how much i love an album that grows on you.

lately i've been listening to the following bands a lot:
colditz glider - good mathrock, gives rumah sakit a run for its money, shame they broke up zazen boys - angular super math from japan the edmund fitzgerald - soon to be coming to an end sadly =( charlottefield - good mathed out uk guttoral stuff heavy vegetable - think rob crow or thingy or some stuff but faster and more precise and with real girl vocals montana pete - band from leeds better and more artful than shellac but more crazy than minor threat or fugazi
all of the above are great.

Low Hot Snakes Ryoji Ikeda - 0 Degrees C Steve Reich - The Four Sections Shipping News - Flies the Field Also listening to The Four Sections - one damn good album. Just got Kate Bush's new album Aerial too (don't slag me off, I happen to think she's the only listenable "pop" artist). Side 1 is meh, but side 2 is superb.
