Since I answered a question somewhere else I get ask one here.
Any one heard anything about a new record or what label they'll wind up on?

Crappity crap, I thought the single was coming out this month. Oh well, a mere two-month delay is nothing for Battles fans

From the new live songs played a while back that i heard, it will definitely be worth the extra wait. I can't recall anticipating a new album as much as this one.

FUCK. YEAH! It's great to hear them progressing already. I just hope I don't overplay this and get sick of it long before the album (or even the single) actually comes out!
another thought, this thing is actually FUN.. I don't think its inconceivable to suggest this might actually gain some reasonable popularity

I agree about that progression comment, they don't seem to be just continuing on from the B & C ep's which is great. I'm highly addicted to this song. Got to love the chipmunk vox too ;D

Thanks for the links hospitalcomedian, blooor and messo.
I couldn't imagine vocals fitting into this style of music, but it works really well in "Atlas."

The melody of those vocals in Atlas are driving me insane -- I can't get them out of my head, day or night, whether I'm at work or trying to sleep. They're just too catchy in a very maddening way.
